Monday (26/5), BPS Tidore Islands City held the 2025 Village Development Data Update Officer (PODES) Training. This event was officially opened by the Head of BPS Tidore Islands City, Oki Afrizal, S.ST, who conveyed the importance of the role of officers in ensuring the quality of the data collected.
This training began with independent learning on 22-23 May 2025, then continued with online learning on 26-27 May 2025, and face-to-face training on 28 May 2025. This training was attended by 12 participants consisting of 3 (three) PML and 9 (nine) PCL who will later conduct data collection throughout the Tidore Islands City area.
Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) is data collection carried out to obtain a comprehensive picture of the characteristics of villages/sub-districts throughout Indonesia, covering social, economic, and infrastructure aspects. PODES data is used as a basis for planning, evaluation, and the formulation of development policies at the national and regional levels.
This training aims to equip prospective officers with the knowledge and skills needed in implementing the 2025 PODES data collection, so that the data collected can be accurate, complete, and in accordance with the standards set by BPS.
